Shining Jesus\u2019 Light, Sharing Christ\u2019s Love, Showing God\u2019s Grace<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Are you curious about Children\u2019s Ministry at Thorndale United Church? You are invited to come check us out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Children from kindergarten through to grade 6 are welcome to join us in exploring<\/strong> God\u2019s marvelous world, learning<\/strong> about Jesus\u2019s life and creating<\/strong> and strengthening<\/strong> our relationships with Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Nursery Room<\/font><\/strong> is available for babies and toddlers to play while Mom and Dad can soak in the worship service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also offer a Drop Off Program<\/strong>. We understand that parents may not be able to stay for church. Children can be dropped off just before 11 am and picked up just after 12 pm. Reach out to Marilyn with any questions and to register for this program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other youth programming includes our Youth Group<\/font><\/strong> on Monday nights at 7 pm. It\u2019s for Grade 7 through Highschool aged students. No registration is required, all are welcome! For more details, you can reach out to Pam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the summer, a week of Vacation Bible School (VBS)<\/font><\/strong> is offered in the mornings. This is a high-energy program where the church is completely transformed into the theme\u2019s scenery (space, underwater, arctic, in the clouds\u2026). Youth travel to different stations around the church to participate in crafts, food, story and games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are passionate about engaging with the youth in our care. In all our programs, we share bible stories and discuss how they can apply to everyday life. We like encourage a child\u2019s natural curiosity and creativity while letting them know they are part of God\u2019s family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
